Quadient Programmer

Position Overview
The Quadient Lead Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining automated communication and document workflows within the Quadient Inspire suite. This role focuses on optimizing, standardizing, and supporting omnichannel output processes across print, email, and digital delivery channels. Working closely with IT, design, and production teams, the Lead ensures efficient, accurate, and secure generation and delivery of customer communications.

Key Responsibilities
· Design, configure, test, and maintain Quadient Inspire workflows using Inspire Designer, Interactive, Automation, Scaler, and Dashboard.
· Re-engineer and optimize document templates and data-driven layouts for both print and digital channels.
· Automate and streamline job onboarding, data transformation, and output distribution through Quadient’s native workflow and automation tools.
· Ensure document integrity, version control, and compliance in high-volume, data-intensive production environments.
· Troubleshoot Quadient-related production issues to maintain system reliability and uptime.
· Collaborate with IT, data, and production teams to align Inspire workflows with upstream (data preparation) and downstream (print/digital output) systems.
· Train production and creative teams on Quadient Inspire tools, templates, and workflow best practices.
· Develop and maintain clear documentation, including workflow diagrams, configuration notes, and standard operating procedures.
· Continuously evaluate and recommend Quadient upgrades, features, or optimizations to increase efficiency, reduce manual touchpoints, and support business objectives.

Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Quadient Inspire (Designer, Interactive, Automation, or Scaler).
· Proven background in customer communications management (CCM) or document workflow automation.
· Experience in a high-volume print, digital communication, or transactional document environment preferred.

Technical Skills
Deep understanding of Quadient Inspire modules and rules-based automation for personalized communications.
Strong knowledge of data-driven document design (XML, JSON, CSV input) and output formats (PDF, HTML, email, print streams).
Familiarity with Windows server environments and production workflow management.
Understanding of digital print, email, and web delivery standards.
Experience with output management or print MIS systems is an asset (no programming required).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in process improvement.
Able to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Project management or e-commerce background is a plus.
